Student Achievement Plan (SAP)
At the UCDSB, we believe that if we establish a consistent, equitable, and intentional culture of well-being and inclusivity in all of our schools, students will develop enhanced mental and physical health, a positive sense of belonging, the skills to make positive choices, and increased student achievement.
Our Student Achievement Plan is centered around these three priorities and three goals:
Priorities:
- Achievement of Learning Outcomes in Core Academic Skills
- Student Engagement & Well-Being
- Preparation of Students for Future Success
Goals:
- 90 per cent of students will read, write, and demonstrate number sense and operations at grade level;
- 100 per cent of students will report that school is safe and inclusive, and positively influences their mental health, wellness and sense of belonging;
- 90 per cent of students will graduate within five years.
The following chart provides a visual representation of how UCDSB will address these three priorities and achieve its three goals.
