Parent Involvement Committee

PIC imageThe UCDSB Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is a district-wide group of parent/guardian representatives that work to support, encourage and enhance parent engagement at the board level. This group helps to support student achievement and well-being goals, provide feedback on future Board policies and initiatives, and provide support to all UCDSB School Councils. 

The committee aims to have up to 20 parent members, with representation from across the district, including a member from the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education. There is also a seat on the committee for a community member.

Parent/guardian representation is as follows:

  • 6 Parent Members from Wards 1, 2, 3 (Lanark area schools) 
  • 6 Parent Members from Wards 4, 5, 6 (Leeds-Grenville area schools)
  • 6 Parent Members from Wards 7, 9, 10 (S,D&G and Prescott-Russell area schools) 
  • 2 Parent Member from Ward 8 (Cornwall area schools)
