2023-24 School Year Calendar Consultation
The Upper Canada District School Board is starting to plan for the 2023-2024 school year, and that includes the development of the school year calendar.
Our school year calendar development plan includes a consultation period, and we invite you to provide feedback using this online form: Proposed School Year Calendar Feedback Form.
The consultation period runs from January 13 to February 8. The full proposed school year calendar can be downloaded or viewed below.
Please know that this calendar is subject to change based on feedback received during the consultation period or at the direction of the Ministry of Education.
Highlights of the 2023-2024 proposed calendar:
- The school year runs from Friday, September 1, 2023 to Thursday, June 27, 2024.
- Classes start for students on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 and end on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
- Semester 1 will run from Friday, September 1, 2023 to Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
- Semester 2 will run from Thursday, February 1, 2024 to Thursday, June 27, 2024.
- Winter/holiday break is Monday, December 25, 2023 to Friday, January 5, 2024.
- March Break is Monday, March 11, 2024 to Friday, March 15, 2024.
