The role of the Student Trustee has three key elements where they represent the views of students or support student leadership:

  1. Serving as the Chairperson of the UCDSB Student Senate. The Senate meets four times during the school year, with representatives from each UCDSB secondary school;

  3. Attending the two Ontario Student Trustee Association’s (OSTA-AECO) conferences (Toronto / Ottawa), as well as being an active member of this organization.
