Setup Guide for Mac OS X Computers

Note: The instructions listed below will grant you access to our UC Staff and Student WiFi network, giving you faster internet speed and access to more sites.

** ATTENTION: OS X High Sierra 10.13 and later supported. These instructions will not work on older versions.

1) Connect your device to the UC Guest WiFi.

2) Launch your Safari browser and go to mobile.ucdsb.ca

: The instructions listed below will grant you access to our UC Staff and Student WiFi Network,
giving you faster internet speed and access to more sites.

**These steps will work on a Mac OS X version 10.7 (Lion) or newer, but will NOT work on older
versions.

3) Click on the button.


4) In the Group ID box, enter UC. Click Next.

5) In the Username box, enter your student number. In the Password box, enter your UC
password (This will be the same account you use to log on to your computer). Click Next.

6) Click on Redirect and Enable.

7) Click Install.

8) Click Continue.

9) Click Install.

10) Enter your Mac password. Please note, that this is not your UCDSB login password, but rather the administrative password for your computer.

11) Wait for the AirWatch profiles to load. You will see them appear in the left pane.

12) Click on the network icon in the upper right corner and choose to connect to UC Student and Staff WiFi.

13) Enter your UCDSB username and password to connect to the wireless network.

14) Congratulations! You will now have access to our UC Student and Staff WiFi network. You may now close the enrollment Safari tab and any other screens that you see that have to do with enrollment. No other software installation is required.
