UCDSB Virtual Learning Commons
UCDSB’s Virtual Learning Commons (VLC) provides our school community – students, educators, families/caregivers - with a comprehensive collection of multi-formatted resources supporting curriculum and general interest subjects. Resources include:
- Curriculum-based
and Topic Subject Guides with videos, interactive activities, and
recommended websites for K-12 subjects and courses.
- Subscription
and vetted databases* supporting curricular subjects with articles,
videos, images, audio and games.
- Two eBook/audiobook platforms - Sora (K-Adult) and a selection of titles from MyCapstone Library (K-8).
- "How do I?" tutorials covering the research and inquiry process, citations, cyber safety, false news, and learning skills.
