To celebrate inclusivity and diversity within the
Rockland District High School community, the intermediate students at Rockland District High School have created an Inclusivity and Diversity Tree — and it’s in full bloom.
or the December design, Grade 7 student Nora Toth took the lead and designed snowman templates. Each student had the opportunity to create their own unique snowman from the templates, incorporating elements that reflect their individuality.
Whether through colours, accessories, or other creative touches, each snowman represents the diverse experiences and perspectives of the students, and serve as a symbol of unity and celebration of the different cultures, backgrounds, and identities of the school community.
Each month a new design will be created and students will be encouraged to continue to share their personalities and experiences through art on the branches of the tree.
