Tour for Humanity Makes Stop at St. Lawrence Secondary School
St. Lawrence Secondary School was featured in the Cornwall Standard Freeholder on Wednesday, May 28.
The school welcomed speaker Elena Kingsbury from The Tour for Humanity who spoke with students about discrimination, prejudice and hate within Canada and around the world.
“I find students are really receptive. Sometimes they’re a little nervous to share their ideas at first, but that’s why we want to get them comfortable and get them talking.”
