School Year Calendar Consultation
This is the proposed 2025-2026 school year calendar. The calendar is intended to provide maximize time for curriculum and staff training needs with minimal disruption to families.
Consultation with Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario provides alignment of PA days and exam days to minimize transportation costs.
Note: one PA day falls on a Monday and one on a Thursday. This was advised by the Ministry of Education, to coincide with provincial and federal election dates. Those days are subject to change, should election dates be moved.
Features of the 2025-26 draft school year calendar include the following:
- The school year runs from Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to Friday, June 26, 2026.
- Classes start for students on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 and end on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
- Semester 1 will run from Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to Thursday, January 29, 2026
- Semester 2 will run from Friday, January 30, 2026 to Friday, June 26, 2026.
- Winter/holiday break is Monday, December 22, 2025 to Friday, January 2, 2026
- March Break is Monday, March 16, 2026 to Friday, March 20, 2026.
The proposed Professional Activity days are as follows:

The Monday, October 20 and Thursday, June 4 PA days coincide with proposed provincial and federal election dates.
