The 2026-2027 School Year Calendar was approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2026.
Features of the 2026-2027 Calendar
- The school year runs from Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to Monday, June 28, 2027.
- Classes start for students on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, and end on Friday, June 25, 2027.
- Semester 1 will run from Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to Friday, January 29, 2027.
- Semester 2 will run from Monday, February 1, 2027, to Monday, June 28, 2027.
- Winter break is Monday, December 21, 2026, to Friday, January 1, 2027.
- March Break is Monday, March 15, 2027, to Friday, March 19, 2027.
- Ontario Day is on Tuesday, June 1, 2027 (this is an instructional day)
