Approved 2025-2026 School Year Calendar
The 2025-2026 School Year Calendar was approved by the Ministry of Education in March, 2025.
Features of the 2025-26 school year calendar include the following:
- The school year runs from Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to Friday, June 26, 2026.

Classes start for students on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 and end on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
- Semester 1 will run from Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to Thursday, January 29, 2026
- Semester 2 will run from Friday, January 30, 2026 to Friday, June 26, 2026.
- Winter/holiday break is Monday, December 22, 2025 to Friday, January 2, 2026
March Break is Monday, March 16, 2026 to Friday, March 20, 2026.
The proposed Professional Activity days are as follows:
- Tuesday, September 2, 2025
- Monday, October 20, 2025
- Friday, November 28, 2025
- Friday, January 30, 2026
- Friday, April 24, 2026
- Friday, May 29, 2026 (changed from June 4, 2026 in the draft calendar)
- Friday, June 26, 2026
