September 3, 2024 - Trustees with the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) met on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024 for a special board meeting. In adherence with legislation from the Ministry of Education that required school boards to update their Code of Conduct, trustees met, discussed, and revised the UCDSB Code of Conduct for Board Members/Trustee – Policy 311.

The updated Code of Conduct now explicitly outlines the professional expectations of Board members when acting in the role of Trustee.

“I believe that trustees have already been acting in the spirit of this updated Code of Conduct. However, our Code of Conduct is now more clearly defined. These enhancements are welcomed by Trustees and the process served as a great review as we head into this new school year,” said Chair of the Board Jamie Schoular.
