Remote Learning Info Sessions for Parents
If your child is currently enrolled in digital remote learning (eithersynchronous or asynchronous digital)with the Upper Canada District School Board, then you can see how the online tools are essential to your child’s learning experience.Using these tools may be a learning experience for you, too!

To help you best support your child, feel more connected to your school and get more confidence when using the online learningtools, the UCDSB Distance Learning Support Team is hosting free, onlineinfo sessions for parents/guardians.

These info sessions are open to any parent/guardian with a K-12 child enrolled in any learning model.

These 45-minute sessions will show you:
  • the basics of navigating the online space - where to go to log in, how to find work, how to communicate with your teacher, and more
  • how your child's teacher may be using the online space
  • what to do when you get stuck - where to get help and access resources
  • privacy/safety considerations that educators are using in their classroom practice

After these sessions, you’ll have a better understanding of the software and know where to turn if you need more support for those in-the-moment tech challenges.
