UCDSB Launches ‘My UCDSB’ On-line Services for Students
The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) has launched its first set of My UCDSB services, a new set of on-line services for students that will provide improved communication and enhanced access to tools and resources in a variety of ways.
This announcement also marks the first time that a significant set of on-line services are available to all students from outside of the school network.
Features available to all students include:
· My Mail (Use of e-mail, calendar and contacts)
· Class e-mail groups to facilitate collaboration in the classroom
· Student electronic agenda with a calendar, so students can keep track of homework
· Synchronization of e-mail, calendar, and contacts to personal devices
· Instant messaging service to promote student to student collaboration
· Office Web Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
· File storage and sharing system with 25 GB of storage per student
We are pleased to announce that these services will also be available to students from a home computer.
