UCDSB Students Place in Top 10 at EOSSAA Cross Country

October 29, 2019 (Upper Canada, ON) –  Thirteen Upper Canada District School Board students placed in the top 10 at the Eastern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (EOSSAA) Cross Country Championships last week in Petawawa. Some of these runners have qualified for the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships, which are being held in Sudbury on November 2.

The runners that placed in the top 10 were:

Maddie Seaby, Carleton Place High School (2nd, girls 4km)

Jacob McLean, Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute (3rd, boys 4km)

Nick Dardano, Brockville Collegiate Institute (9th, boys 4km)

Sebastian Friedrich Yap, North Grenville District High School (10th, boys 4km)

Dale Kenny, Carleton Place High School (2nd, girls 5km)

Zoe Strachan, Perth & District Collegiate Institute (5th, girls 5km)

Jack Link, North Dundas District High School (6th, boys 5km)

Shan Dhanoa, Thousand Islands Secondary School (7th, boys 5km)

Nathan Plant, Thousand Islands Secondary School (10th, boys 5km)

Teigan Wallace, Thousand Islands Secondary School (5th, girls 6km)

Mason Jones, Thousand Islands Secondary School (3rd, boys 6km)

David Gill, Thousand Islands Secondary School (6th, boys 6km)

Andrew Machan, Perth and District Collegiate Institute (9th, boys 6km)
