Time to Register for the 4th Annual Champions for Kids Golf Tournament

(Perth)– While golf may be the furthest thing from your mind as you brush the snow off your car for the third time in one day, organizers of the 4^th Annual Champions for Kids Foundation Golf Tournament remind you that it’s not too early to register for this year’s event.

The annual charity tournament takes place July 6, 2011 at the Perth Golf Course in Perth, said Co-Chairman John Gow.

“It’s a chance to come out and enjoy a great day of golf and a fine meal with friends while helping a good cause,” said Gow.

Cost to register for this year’s event is just $125 a player, which will get you 18-holes of golf, a delicious steak or chicken BBQ dinner, and chances at closest-to-the hole and other special prizes.

Registration for the event will take place from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to shortly before noon. The tournament will begin at noon.

The tournament supports the work of the Upper Canada District School Board Champions for Kids Foundation. The foundation was formed in January 2008 to raise funds so children from financially challenged families could play sports, enjoy the arts, and seek medical and dental care.
