Watch this page for media clippings from local school transition events or school announcements!  We try to promote great things happening in our board at all of our schools. 

If there is a transition event at your child's school which is published in your local paper, let us know!  We are happy to share those stories, as the schools host events for students who will be transferring to a new location in the fall.

These transition events assist the younger students to become familiarized with their school well in advance of the first day!  Opportunities to tour the school building, see the facilities, and to meet staff as well as many other students from surrounding schools who will become their classmates, helps to ease the "first-day jitters".
