Programming Competitions are open to students at TISS who knows any programming language. They usually take 1-2 periods of class time. Although it is not necessary, it is suggested that you have taken at least one programming course.

" Computer Science AP" (Advanced Placement)
The Computer Science Advanced Placement Exam is written globally in May each year. The exam challenges Programmers with University/College level questions. It is written in two components – forty multiple choice questions and 4 written programming segments. A good mark on these exams may be rewarded with a credit in university.
This course is designed to prepare students for the upcoming AP exams which can be quite difficult. Each meeting, questions given out during the last meeting will be taken up, and work on programs to give students experience managing the code.
For the course we use the Java programming language, and the BlueJ compiler.
