Senior Boys Football
The TISS senior football team had another successful season in 2009 posting a regular season record of 5-1 and capturing LGSSA championship 18-0 against cross town rival BCI. The team then went on to face KASSA champion, Holy Cross in Kingston, in the EOSSA championship but lost a thriller on a last second touchdown 30-23. Led by their graduating players, the boys all had terrific successes this year; playing great football and growing with the game. Congratulations to the team and coaches Ruttan and Dumbrille for a great season!

Junior Boys Football
The 2009 season was a rebuilding season for the defending Junior Champion Pirates. The juniors had only 6 returning players from last year’s team and struggled throughout the regular season. However, in the playoffs, the Pirates won their first playoff game convincingly 20-0 over St. Mike’s. The Pirates then lost to the eventual Champions the following week on the last play of the game. Congratulations to Ryan Miles, Jacob Read, Chad Warren, Josh Hinton, and Evan Knapp-Fisher, for there outstanding leadership.
