'Book of Negroes' Visit

On Tuesday, February 14th, 30 ENG4U students went to Toronto to meet with The Book of Negroes author Lawrence Hill. Students had a rare opportunity to spend two hours in discussion with Mr. Hill regarding the novel, it's historical significance, and the life of a writer. As well, students attended the concert "Voices of Diaspora" by the Nathaniel Dett Choral and the author himself. The trip was both memorable and inspiring.
