My UCDSB On-line Services for Students to Launch This Month

On February 9^th, 2012, the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) will launch My UCDSB, a new set of on-line services for students that will allow for improved communication and enhanced access to tools and resources in a variety of ways.

My UCDSB Includes:

·                 An improved e-mail system for students with easier to remember e-mail addresses

·                 Electronic agenda tools that students and teachers can use to help organize homework assignments, tasks, and events

·                 On-line versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote

·                 Real-time messaging tools for on-line collaboration between classmates

·                 On-line storage for documents, homework, and school projects

·                 Wireless synchronization of e-mail, calendar, and contacts to students’ personal devices such as iPods, Smartphones or tablets

We are pleased to announce that these services will also be available to students from a home computer.
