Kindergarten Registration for September 2012

You may register in person, on the phone or on-line. Follow this link (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JK-SK_2012) to pre-register your child for Junior or Senior Kindergarten.

1. Locating Your Designated School

If you have any questions related to the school your child will be attending, please use the School Seeker (http://tracs.ucdsb.on.ca/seeker/) program, or contact the Transportation department at 1-800-818-3674 to assist you.

2. How to Register

Families have a number of options for registering children at our schools.

Visit your local school

Schools in the Upper Canada District School Board are always open for registration. Come on in! In addition, please contact your local school for specific open house dates and watch for our advertisements in local newspapers. We understand that families want to visit the school that their child will be attending. In addition to this, you can pre-register your child using our online pre-registration tool. The school will make contact with you to complete the registration process at a later date.

Parents have the option of printing the registration form, filling it in, and bringing it to your local school. To print a registration form CLICK HERE.

We are looking forward to seeing you. Rideau Vista offers a “JK Preregistration Open House on Thursday February 23 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. We will send invitations to registered families, inviting them to attend.

3. What information do I need to register my child for Kindergarten?

Whether coming into the school, pre-registering on-line, or a combination of both, you will need to bring:

Child’s birth certificate or other government document to show proof of age;

Record of child’s immunization (measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and polio);

Child’s health card.
