Community Service Hours Reminder

Graduating students are reminded of the requirement to complete 40 hours of community service.  This is a mandatory requirement for all students who will be receiving an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.   Community service opportunities can be found on the school’s Community Service bulletin board outside the Guidance Department. 

Students and/or parents are reminded to check with a Guidance counselor prior to beginning any community service activity to be certain that it is an approved activity under the Mandatory Community Involvement guidelines set out by the Upper Canada District School Board .

We would ask that all community service hours be  finished and that completed forms be submitted to the Guidance Department by   May 30, 2012.
