Attention Nationview!! Are you able to help us out with a progam we have here at North Grenville District High School? A special needs grade 12 student, David Goode, will be graduating from high school this year, and is working on a legacy to leave. He is an energetic young man known for his optimism and caring approach to others. With assistance, he has started a Pull Tab Program. This involves collecting the tabs from cans and donating them to the Ronald McDonald House in Ottawa.

Our contact at Ronald McDonald House, Carol Houston, is quite excited about having our local schools involved with us. The weight of the tabs can be translated into financial help with the costs of the operations of Ronald McDonald House. Some of the financial benefits involve purchasing laundry soap or buying hot meals for out of town families residing there while their child receives treatment at CHEO.

Please think about helping David to help the families at Ronald McDonald House by saving your pop can tabs and bringing them in to school to be collected. We would arrange to have them picked up from Nationview. All we require from students and staff is the donation of the tabs that would otherwise go to recycling.
