Nationview is fortunate to be one of only two elementary schools in the Upper Canada Board to have a design and Technology programme funded by our board of education.   Design and Tech is not only offered to Nationview students, but other schools in the board that are interested in visiting the workshop here at the school.  Nationview students from grades 4-6, and visiting students from grades 5-8 learn basic building techniques as well as put into practice theories learn in the respective science curriculums.  Students enjoy the opportunity to use hand and power tools and create pieces of work they can take home and share with their families.
