On September 28th this year Montague Public School celebrated their 5th year of raising money for the Terry Fox foundation by adding a new donation…when they reached $600 a grade 5/6 teacher, Mrs.Vibert cut 8” off her hair in front of the school to make a wig for a child in need. That afternoon all the Montague students and staff ran around the school. This year Mother Nature decided to give them a taste of what Terry had to go through. They ran in the pouring rain and each got soaked, but over all these generous Montague students beat their goal of $600 and instead boosted the amount of cancer research money by over $2300 (and still coming in) in hope that some day we will reach our goal of the discovery for a cure for cancer. You will find pictures out in the foyer of Montague Public School.
