Community Service Diploma Requirement

As part of the diploma requirement, students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of community involvement which must be completed outside the normal classroom hours. These hours may not include activities that are counted towards a credit, through paid work or by assuming duties normally performed by a paid employee. Documentation attesting to the completion of each activity must be submitted on a designated form to the principal. Volunteer forms are available at the Guidance or Main Office and are to be returned to the Guidance Office.  It is recommended that a student complete at least 10 hours of the voluntary activity each year.
