Community Service Hours

All ontario high school students must complete 10 hours of community service per year for a total of 40 hours. All 40 hours can be done at any time after you graduate from high school. Make sure that your hours are community service and not what would normally be considered employment. Examples of community service are:

- volunteering at The OSPCA

- volunteering at a food bank

- coaching younger children in minor sports

- helping with church activities

- cleaning the ditches on your road

- volunteering with the Cancer Society and many more!

Make sure to fill out the form found at the link below and bring it to the Guidance Office to have your hours tracked. Please do not wait until May of your graduating year start your hours or to hand in your hours!
