Students from the Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School visual arts, dramatic arts, dance, vocal and instrumental music programs will be participating in the first annual Pitt Street Artfest as part of the Culture Days weekend taking place throughout Canada . They will be involved in a number of performances and art activities on Saturday October 1st, from 10:00 AM to 2 PM. The events will be located at various locations on the section of Pitt Street between First Street and Second Street. Visual Arts/Art Club students will be creating side walk chalk art near or in front of the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery beginning at 10:00 a.m. Instrumental and Guitar students will be performing in solo and small ensemble numbers in front of Moustache Joe's on Pitt Street at 11:00 a.m. Dance and Vocal Music students will be participating in a flash mob  in front of the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery at approximately 11:45. At press time, the CCVS Improv team is tentatively scheduled to perform with local celebrities at 11:00 a.m. in a section of the parking lot off Pitt Street between First Street and Second streets.
