Community Service Involvement
Students are required to earn 40 hours of community service in order to obtain their OSSD and graduate. These volunteer hours must be obtained outside of school time, i.e. before or after school, during lunch, on the weekends or during the summer.
If you are not certain whether or not the activity is eligible, please see eligible and ineligible list on reverse of form. If this activity falls under the ineligible list, please take your form to the principal for approval.

Revision to the Community Involvement Graduation Requirement, Section 3.1.3. Ontario Secondary Schools, Grades 9 to 12, Program and Diploma Requirements, 1999 (OSS) from the Ministry Education:
....students will be able to start accumulating community involvement hours during the summer before they enter Grade 9....
