Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)

The OSSLT is taken very seriously at ADHS. It will take place on March 29th 2012. The test takes most of the school day to write. Students should come on the bus as usual. All grade 10s write this province wide test, as a mandatory part of their secondary school diploma. Passing the test is a requirement of graduation. All grade 9s will also write an old version of the OSSLT test in preparation for the following year. Work is provided for other grades the previous day, and they can work quietly in the cafeteria on their studies. No regular classes are run on this day.
