MSIP at ADHS

MSIP stands for multi-subject instructional period. 15 minutes from each students' 4 classes are taken each day and combined into a one hour supervised period where they can work on homework, receive help from teachers pending their availability, and have access to technology and the library (learning commons). We have a fixed MSIP period 2 each day.

MSIP is a tradition that serves students' well by creating an organized way for them to achieve their course expectations with the maximum amount of support possible.

Some thoughts from students on MSIP:

"It allows you to catch up on your homework in a structured environment."
-Ben

"MSIP gives us a break from normal classes which helps alleviate stress"
-anonymous

"MSIP creates a longer block of uninterrupted time to complete your work in. This is better than having 15 minutes at the end of each class to work on homework, because sometimes you have huge assignments in one class, and no work in others, so you can work on the big assignments for the full hour."
-Jacob
