I have forgotten my application username and password. What do I need to do?
Go to the Web site www.applytoeducation.com and click on the forgot username password link at the top of the page. It will then ask you to input your e-mail address and verify a code. Once successful your username and password will be sent to your e-mail account.
How do I know that I have successfully applied to a vacancy?
When you apply to a vacancy and select save you will receive the following:
1) A pop up box verifying your application has been sent
2) An e-mail verifying that your application has been sent
You can also log into your account and go to your job application log and under this link it will provide you with the jobs you have applied to.
Can I update my application without applying to a job posting?
Yes, by entering your username and password you have full access to your on-line portfolio. Any changes that you make will not be updated on any applications you have already submitted. You will need to go to your job application log, click on the postings you wish to update, and make the necessary changes.
How do I get my name on the approved occasional list?
An applicant must have an account on www.applytoeducation.com. Those who apply for an occasional list posting must select individual schools, list qualifications and complete their availability. Those who are chosen for interviews will go through a screening process before you can be added to the approved list. Please note in the Elementary and Secondary Occasional Teaching Collective Agreements there is a maximum number of employees permitted to be on the occasional lists.
